The story of Pure & Light Organics begins and ends with the life and personal philosophy of our Founder, Agnes Donazy.
Agnes began her career as a Physiotherapist, giving her a strong foundation in biology and physiology. When she decided to move into business, she garnered an MBA from Oxford Brooks University. However, in practice, Agnes became somewhat disillusioned with the lack of integrity she saw around her in the business world.
At about the same time, she began to experience problems with her skin due to chemical sensitivity. That’s when Agnes began to seriously study natural healing systems, eventually becoming an accomplished Naturopath, Western Herbalist, and Aromatherapist. A strong personal interest in spiritual and metaphysical studies also led her to the science of Homeopathy and the work of Rudolph Steiner.
Agnes has combined her business acumen, her knowledge of natural healing, and her love of beauty and harmony to create Pure&Light Organic Skincare. Over the past 15 years, she has become a master at formulating, testing and perfecting our all-natural products. She also personally supervises all aspects of their production and marketing.
